KENNESAW, Ga. One organization launched a nationwide campaign to reward “pandemic heroes” with free wedding dresses, a press release said Thursday.

A spokesperson with Bride and Groom across America said the organization has partnered with Impression Bridal to reward healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic with a once-in-a-lifetime gown at 14 july.

The campaign begins June 11, a release states.

“Brides Across America will give back to those who risked their lives to keep us safe,” the release said. “Whether it’s for the love of the homeland or love at the altar, our front line deserves the best.”

The organization’s mission was originally to support America’s active military, but they have recently expanded it to include first responders, COVID-19 frontline healthcare workers, as well as veterans.

As part of the Operation Wedding Gown initiative, the salon will offer a selection of designer wedding dresses.

This is our way of keeping us united in love and our way of thanking you all,” said Heidi Janson, founder of Brides Across America.

Georgian brides can schedule and promise here with Impression Bridal from Roberts Court in Kennesaw to see if they could receive a free dress.

The company started in 2008. Since its inception, the website notes Brides For America has gifted more than 26,000 wedding dresses and paid for more than 25 weddings.

The organization organizes nearly a dozen wedding gift-giving events across the country each year. These events generally take place around July (around Independence Day) and November (around Heroes’ Day).
