Stylish Euro-style men’s footwear brand walks to The Heights

Fashionable and wealthy Houston gentlemen, rejoice. A trendy and luxurious men’s footwear brand is stepping into town.

TAFT, a stylish brand centered on bold European shoes and unique designs, is making its way to the bustling Heights hub, MKT (600 N Shepherd Dr., Building 1), the company announced. This is the first outpost in Houston.

Buyers can expect elegant and cutting-edge footwear produced by artisans in Portugal and Spain. The shoes are meticulously cut and hand-painted using the finest leather in Europe, notes the press release.

In addition, the new store will offer a wide selection of boots such as leather boots, wingtips, cap-toe combat boots, and hiking boots. TAFT will also offer loafers, sneakers, t-shirts, and accessories. (Sizes range from 6 to 15.)

TAFT has also started some buzz for intricate and ornate patterns and designs at another Texas location in Dallas as well as in the very stylish Soho in New York. Notably, brand founders Kory and Mallory Stevens started out as a men’s sock brand and quickly transitioned into the fledgling footwear business following a viral post on Reddit.

We’ve seen a high concentration of subscribers grow in cities like Houston, and can now provide them with real-life, omnichannel experiences, founder Kory Stevens said in a statement.

When we dream of TAFT in our living room, we have big ambitions, and having our own shop is one of them. Seeing our products on display on shelves and in the hands of our customers is truly a dream come true. We are excited to open our second location in Texas and the fourth store in the TAFT retail portfolio.
