Queen calls Kate’s wedding dress look ‘terrible and awful’ in excavated video

The Queen was not happy with the look of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.

A shocking video unearthed shows the Queen calling the show “terrible and horrific” as she oversaw the opening of the exhibition at Buckingham Palace in 2011.

The iconic Sarah Burton and Alexander McQueen gown that Kate wore to her wedding in April earlier that year was featured in an exhibition at the palace.

New footage from the Queen’s first look at the show shows she has no interest in the look of Kate’s dress.

In the video, he can be heard telling Kate: “It’s horrible, isn’t it? It’s horrible, it’s horrible. It’s made to look really scary.”

Her comments were later clarified by a royal biographer who said: “I believe when the Queen said, ‘This is terrible,’ she was speaking of the true horror of the whole situation.”

The video has been unearthed after many across the country passed out because of Kate and her husband Prince William as they attended sporting events over the weekend including Wimbledon and the Euro final.

The pair were seen jumping for joy with their little son Prince George during Sunday night’s final at Wembley where England scored against Italy in the opening two minutes.

The Three Lions went on to lose but the family have since paid tribute to them and condemned the racist remarks made against players Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka.

Prince William said he was “fed up” after hearing about the racist attacks players were subjected to after they missed a penalty during the match.

He said: “I am fed up with the racist abuse directed at England players after last night’s game.

“It is completely unacceptable that the players have to endure this disgusting behavior. It must stop now and everyone involved must be held accountable.”

Just before the game, the Duke of Cambridge sent a video clip to the team showing his support.

In a clip posted on Twitter, he said: “Gareth [Southgate], Harry [Kane], and to every member of the England team on and off the pitch, I just wanted to wish you all the best for tonight.

“Amazing team performance. Every member of the squad has played their part, and all the backroom teams are also very important.

“I really can’t believe this is happening. So much fun and I just wish you all the best.

“You bring out the best in England and we are all behind you. The whole country is behind you. So take it home.”

The official Twitter account for the England men’s and women’s national teams offered support to the players who were victims.

It tweeted: “We are disgusted that some of our squad who have given their all for this summer’s jersey have experienced discriminatory abuse online after tonight’s game. We stand by our players.”

The statement read: “The FA strongly condemns all forms of discrimination and is appalled by the online racism directed at some of our England players on social media.

“We cannot explain that whoever is behind such disgusting behavior is not welcome in following the team. We will do everything we can to support the players affected while urging the harshest possible punishment for whoever is responsible.”
