Covid-19 vaccines will be available at a Department of Health booth at the Niagara County Fair, which opens on Wednesday and runs through August 8.
The department said the snaps will be offered at a booth that will also provide a private breastfeeding and baby changing location for nursing mothers.
It will be housed in a blue air-conditioned trailer parked next to the administration building near the main entrance to the fairgrounds on Lake Avenue in the town of Lockport. The trailer also has a refrigerator to store breast milk.
The Department of Health will offer single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines for those 18 and older, as well as two-dose Pfizer vaccines, available for people 12 and older.
Those who receive Pfizer injections will be scheduled for their second dose on site.
No appointment is necessary for vaccinations.
This is the seventh year that Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, which operates the fair, has provided space for the trailer.
