BLOOMINGTON, Minnesota (FOX 9) – HealthPartners is the latest hospital system in Minnesota to introduce COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements for its employees.
Allina Health, M Fairview Health and Essentia Health announced similar vaccine requirements earlier this week.
According to a press release, HealthPartners staff have until October 30 to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and November 30 for the flu. Employees can request medical or religious exemptions.
Immunization requirements also apply to volunteers, students, interns, and hospital system providers.
Nearly 75% of HealthPartners staff have been vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the statement. This includes over 98% of clinicians.
