Receive a COVID-19 vaccine and enter to win free meat for a year in West Michigan

ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – “Your Free Meat Shot for a Year” is Friday night.

People who receive the COVID-19 vaccine on August 20 in Allegan can earn free meat for a year through JBS Plainwell.

The vaccination clinic through the Allegan County Health Department is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1 Riverfront Plaza in Allegan, according to a press release.

Unvaccinated people who receive the COVID-19 vaccine will receive a free half fillet, JBS said.

All people 21 and older who receive the vaccine on Friday are registered to win free beef, pork and chicken for one year. The free meat is enough to feed a family of four for a year, or $ 4,000, the statement said.

More than 70% of JBS USA and Pilgrim’s employees are vaccinated against about 57% of the population nationwide, the statement said.

“We want everyone in our communities to be as safe as our team members,” the statement said.

JBS USA and Pilgrim are running giveaways across the country and donating £ 1 million of food to communities that host vaccination clinics, the statement said.
