What is the Health Value Dashboard?
The HPIO Health Value Dashboard is a tool for tracking Ohio’s progress toward Health Value – a composite measure of Ohio’s performance on population health outcomes and health spending. The Dashboard examines how Ohio performs relative to other states, tracks changes over time, and examines Ohio’s biggest health disparities and inequalities.

Where does Ohio rank?
Ohio ranks 46th out of 50 states and the District of Columbia (DC) in health value, ranking in the bottom quartile. This means that people in Ohio lead less healthy lives and that we spend more on health care than people in most other states.
