The government confirmed on Wednesday November 3 that another 217 people who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) had died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in the UK to 141,181.
Deaths are recorded as being related to Covid-19 when a person has died within 28 days of a positive test.
Across the UK, on Wednesday 3 November, it was announced that an additional 41,299 people had tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the UK since the start of the pandemic to 9,171,660.
