Two West Auckland nursing homes have registered other residents Tested positive for Covid-19.
There are now 21 residents and four staff with the virus at Edmonton Meadows Nursing Home in Henderson, and two residents of Rosaria Nursing Home in Avondale who tested positive.
Seven residents of Edmonton Meadows Care Home continue to receive care in Auckland hospitals.

There are now two cases of Covid-19 at Rosaria Rest Home in Avondale, Auckland.
Last Thursday, the ministry said a woman from Edmonton Meadows died of an unrelated cause. Shanti Kumari, 87, tested positive for Covid-19 before her death, and her family has been questioned why the cause of his death was not linked to the virus.

Apart from the two positive cases at Rosaria Rest Home, all other residents and staff tested negative.
The first case at home was a woman in her 80s who was fully vaccinated, an employee of the Rosaria nursing home confirmed earlier.
“She is staying here in the facility, isolated from our other residents as she needs nursing home level care,” he said.
Staff from the Auckland Regional Public Health Unit and the Auckland District Health Board are helping residents and staff stay safe at both facilities.
The route of transmission in the two houses has not yet been found.
In 2020, 12 deaths from Covid-19 were tied to Rosewood Nursing Home in Christchurch.
He was found to have violated his Covid-19 obligations regarding cleaning services and emergency provision of personal supplies.
