GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Brown County Public Health is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for children on Tuesday.
The clinic is located at the Neville Public Museum, 210 Museum Place, Green Bay. The hours are from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The clinic is for children aged 5 to 18. They will receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine which is approved for this age group.
The clinic will also offer the flu shot.
“Based on the information available, the relevant federal agencies have determined that this vaccine is safe and effective for children,” said Anna Destrée, public health officer for Brown County. “By having your children immunized, we can help reduce the number of cases, hospitalizations and long-term symptom reports among younger children. We encourage all parents and guardians in Brown County to get their children immunized as soon as possible. ”
