CONCORD, NH (AP) – Child ‘too young to have been vaccinated’ against COVID-19 is first person under 18 from New Hampshire have died of complications from the virus, health officials said on Monday.

The Department of Health said about 25% to 30% of all new infections in the state occur in people under the age of 18.
The vaccine is available for children 5 years of age and older. Children 16 years of age and older who have been vaccinated are eligible for a booster dose.
