Dwayne Gunter, CEO of QHR, has over 27 years of business leadership experience and a diverse background across multiple industries, bringing innovative insights to the healthcare market. Prior to QHR, Dwayne was Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of HCI Group, where he led the organization’s growth and innovation plans. He also spent several years at Hospital Corporation of America, HCA, in various leadership roles, where he gained operational insights into healthcare innovation and insights into technology cost management. In his various roles, Dwayne has focused on providing solutions to healthcare clients to help them realize their strategic technology initiatives while improving their financial health. He is an advisor to a number of start-up healthcare organizations focused on value-based care model solutions, population health, and consumer engagement solutions.

Dwayne is a member of several charities in Middle Tennessee, while serving in advisory roles with local universities. Dwayne holds a business degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and an MBA in finance from Middle Tennessee State University. In 1997, he received his doctorate in leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
