New state-issued quarantine and contact tracing guidelines aim to significantly reduce Oregon student and staff numbers absent of more than 1,400 public schools during the omicron overvoltage, local and national authorities say.
The Oregon Health Authority announced the set of new game-changing guidelines late last week in an enigmatic press release it did not make clear that most students and staff will no longer need to self-quarantine, and that families should no longer expect to be notified when their children come into close contact with someone infected with the coronavirus.
