Some important tips to prevent severe joint pain in winter:

  1. Stay active and keep moving, take a walk or do daily routine activities.
  2. Keep your body warm, to relieve joint pain, cover your hands with woolen gloves and your feet with socks and stockings.
  3. Maintain a healthy weight, perform the exercises suggested by your physiotherapist.
  4. Stay hydrated, drink a hot cup of tea or grab a bowl of soup.
  5. Monitor your vitamin D levels, spend time outdoors, and enjoy natural sunlight.
  6. Get a massage around the affected joints to reduce muscle pain.
