An epidemiologist says it’s time to ‘deprioritise’ the response to Covid 19 – a disease he says will now be no worse than the flu for the majority of the population.
There has been an increase in cases recently, and the government has decided to keep the seven-day isolation period in place for the time being.
An expert says the focus should be on older people only, and Maori and Pasifika over 60s.
