Under the direction of the County Chief Executive and Deputy County Chief Executive, and the political direction of the Board of Supervisors, the Chief Health Care Agency (HCA) has overall responsibility for the administration of the ‘HCA, including its five main programs: Mental Health and Recovery Services, Public Health Services, Regulatory/Medical Health Services, Correctional Health Services and Administrative Services. Orange County is seeking an experienced, collaborative, energetic and results-oriented leader to fill the position of new Health Care Agency Director.

Due to the high profile of this role, the new Branch Manager must possess excellent communication skills, excellent political acumen and exercise discretion when required.
