The South Central Mobile Crisis Team is available 24/7 and is able to respond to all counties in the region, including Rice County. The team is able to meet people who are going through a mental or emotional health crisis which includes
- Feeling stressed or feeling overwhelmed
- Plans or thoughts to hurt yourself or others
- Suddenly having trouble performing normal daily activities due to stress or other symptoms
- Increase or change in symptoms such as moodiness, anxiety or panic attacks, hallucinations or delusions
The team offers
- Problem solving and coping strategies
- Referral to other local services to provide ongoing support
- Education and family support
- Brief continuous assistance
