Director of Computing Pharmacy in Salt Lake City, UT for UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HEALTH

Utah Health University is looking for a new leader to fill the position of Director of Pharmacy IT!

The Director of Pharmacy of IT reports to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy (ACPO) of Shared Services and collaborates with system-wide stakeholders across the University of Utah.

This position directs, establishes and plans the general policies and objectives of the pharmacy services of the organization. The incumbent maintains contact with other department heads, medical and nursing staff to identify needs, resolve issues, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and in accordance with state law.

Interested candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:

• Current licenses to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah (must be established before starting)

• Graduate degree (PharmD or MS), or equivalent clinical practice experience.

• Five years of progressive management experience with a track record for results-driven performance.

Qualifications Required

• Advanced degree (PharmD or MS) or equivalent clinical practice experience.

Licenses required

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration or related field.
