The salary range for this position will be $145,000 to $175,000. The Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (HCMHRSB or MHRSB), headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides leadership for public behavioral health care in Hamilton County. MHRSB contracts with many non-profit organizations to provide direct care in a community setting. Through the 38 not-for-profit providers who provide non-hospital behavioral health services – crisis care, ambulatory care, residential care and housing – MHRSB serves more than 26,000 mental health and addictions clients each year.

The HCMHRSB is looking for a strategic leader to be its next Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for setting the financial goals and objectives of the Board and for planning, directing, implementing and coordinating the financial activities of the Board. The CFO is part of the management team and directly supervises a team of three people. This position reports to the President/CEO.

The position requires a master’s degree in accounting or a related field and ten (10) years of experience in financial management; or equivalent. Experience in government accounting is required; experience or knowledge of behavioral health systems is desired. CPA certification, knowledge of MS Excel and Access, and experience in auditing are a plus.
