We are currently seeking an ideal candidate for a Lecturer- Faculty (Grant-Funded) Public Health Informatics and Technology ProgramPublic Health Informatics and Technology.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Teaches undergraduate courses in the Public Health Informatics and Technology Program and other related courses.
  • Contributes to the academic and service programs of the department through research, student advising and mentoring, as well as committee service at the Department, College and University levels.
  • Strong educational credentials and evidence in teaching, research and service in public health informatics, public information systems, data analytics, nursing informatics and nursing public health are desirable.

Qualifications:

  • D., DNP. DIT and other doctorates in Public Health Informatics and/or Technology or highly related field, or a Ph.D., DNP, DHA in public health with extensive working experience in informatics
  • Possess additional certifications in Information Technology and Systems by the date of the appointment is required.

Experience:

  • Applicants must show the potential or have experience in teaching and advisement at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills are essential as well as the ability and commitment to educate first generation college students.
  • Must have a strong ability and commitment to embrace innovative teaching and technology applications in the classroom.
