Responsibilities
Therapists within our dynamic and growing pelvic health team care for patients with a wide variety of pelvic health conditions including: pregnant and post-partum related impairments, acute post-delivery, chronic constipation, pelvic floor pain, and fecal and urinary incontinence. We are seeking PTs to join our team who collaborate in a team approach, advocate for our services, and seek to provide the highest quality care. Our practice is ever changing and expanding. We need staff who can help push our practice forward.
Therapists will work closely with the patient, family, and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. They will serve as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. They will communicate and direct care to other members of the care team including physical/occupational therapy assistants. Additionally, they will serve as educators and mentors for therapy students, peers, and other medical professionals.
This position will primarily serve our patients with pelvic health concerns. However, care of additional patient types is also necessary including pre-operative and musculoskeletal concerns. This position will help us cover our pelvic health practice which currently operates Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Physical Therapist. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving.
Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field.
Also prefer active participation within professional organization. Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
