PHOENIX (AZFamily) — More than 30% of new COVID cases in the U.S. are believed to be from a new kind of virus variant called “FLiRT.”
According to the CDC, the new variants, dubbed KP.2 and KP.1.1 “make up a projected 35.3% of infections,” as of this week, CBS News reported.
