Wolverhampton children offered catch-up flu vaccination clinics

She said it would particularly protect more vulnerable relatives like grandparents or those with underlying health conditions, from becoming ill because of the flu.

“The vaccination is quick and safe and it’s also needle free for most children because it can be given via a nasal spray, rather than via injection,” she added.

“If your child has missed out on their vaccination in school, or you’d rather take them to a clinic, please book an appointment.”

Clinics are taking place this Saturday at Dove Family Hub, Grangefield Close, Ryefield, from 09:00 GMT to 14:00 GMT, and on 30 November at Whitmore Reans Family Hub, Lansdowne Road, at the same times.

A final catch up clinic is scheduled on 11 January at Biz Space, Planetary Road, from 09:00 GMT to 14:00 GMT.
