I had a conversation with a health system executive recently who said something that stuck with me:
“We’ve made a lot of progress with AI, but now the question is how we bring it all together.”
It’s a smart point. So many systems have AI embedded in imaging, operations, documentation but often in silos. The next step isn’t adding more tools. It’s aligning what’s already in motion, connecting it to clinical and operational priorities and measuring what matters.
That conversation got me thinking. The real shift happens when AI moves out of the innovation lab and into the operational core. Not as a one-off solution, but as part of how care is delivered and managed across the system.
That’s where we see real transformation. Not just with tech, but in outcomes, efficiency and how teams work together.
