Under administrative direction, directs and manages various City of El Paso Department of Public Health programs. (Program assignments to be determined by the individual’s experience and background.)
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Business or Public Administration, Nursing, Biological Science, Epidemiology, Health Science, or related field depending and five (5) years of public or environmental health administration in a public health care organization of comparable size and complexity; managing a variety of public health programs, including two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Licenses and Certificates: Valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s License or equivalent from another state by the date of appointment.
