LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) – Public Health England said on Friday there were early signs of an increased risk of reinfection of the highly transmissible variant of the Delta coronavirus compared to Alpha, in an update to its assessment variant risks.
He said that out of a total of 3,692 people hospitalized with the Delta variant, 2,152 people, or 58.3%, were not vaccinated and 843 (22.8%) were fully vaccinated.
