Bilawal says people in occupied Kashmir are fighting a jihad against Modi. People in AJK are struggling with Prime Minister Imran’s inflation, unemployment, he says. “The PPP will serve the people of Kashmir after being elected on July 25,” he said.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that people in India-occupied Kashmir are fighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while their brothers in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are fighting “Prime Minister Imran Khan’s rising inflation and unemployment”.
Speaking at a meeting in Mirpur, Bilawal said the OPP stands side by side with the Kashmiris as they have always had the back of the party in its difficult times.
The PPP chairman said he could not stand to see the “helplessness” of the Kashmir people and complained about the attitude of the incumbent government towards them.
“You are suffering because of the failed and incompetent government of Imran Khan,” the PPP chairman told participants in the demonstration.
Bilawal said the solution to people’s problems – whether they live in occupied or Azad Kashmir – lies with the PPP. “If you (the people) help the PPP form a government, we will solve your problems and get rid of Modi and Imran Khan.”
“We have fought dictatorships together and history is a witness to that. You had supported President Zardari and Qamar Zaman Kaira was your Minister of Kashmir Affairs,” he said.
Bilawal claimed that the PPP is the only party that could protect both regions.
“You have to help elect PPP candidates by a huge margin. PPP will serve the people of Kashmir after being elected on July 25.”
Later in the day, Bilawal said the enthusiasm grew at each stop as he expressed his gratitude to the people of Dudyal, Palak Chaksawari, Dhanna and Manel for having given him a warm welcome.
“We are starting the PPP’s Azad Jammu & Kashmir election campaign with our jalsa in Kotli tomorrow IA,” the PPP chairman said.
