INDOBAL NEWS – Indonesian President Joko Widodo symbolically endorsed the presidency communication, the Group of 20 (G20), on Sunday, October 31, 2021, in Rome, Italy, for the first time that Indonesia becomes the G20 presidency, a global forum of countries. which account for 80% of world gross domestic product (GDP).

President Jokowi also directly invited world leaders to continue discussions at the G20 summit in Indonesia, to be held in Bali on October 30-31, 2022.

At the closing session of the G20 summit in Rome, Italy on Sunday at local time, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi symbolically handed the hammer to President Joko Widodo.

“I congratulate Italy on a successful G20 presidency in 2021. Indonesia is honored to continue its G20 presidency in 2022,” President Joko Widodo said.
