Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher urged to accept strange showers of tidal waves of memes

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher raised eyebrows this week when they described their unusual bathing habits.

The topic turned soapy as the Hollywood couple appeared on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.

Shepherd told co-host Monica Badman that using soap every day rids the body of its natural oils. Kutcher and Kunis agreed, adding that they rarely have a full body lotion.

“Who taught you not to wash?” Badman asked the amazed couple.

“I didn’t have hot water as a kid, so I didn’t shower much anyway,” Kunis said, noting that she passed the habit on to her children.

The former That ’70s Show featured a 6-year-old daughter, Wyatt Isabel, and a 4-year-old son, Dimitri Portwood.

“I wasn’t that parent who washed my newborn at all,” Kunis said.

Now that their kids are older, Kutcher said they had a washing system — and that was to only do it if they could see dirt on the kids.

“If you can see dirt on it, clean it up,” he said. “Otherwise, it is of no use.”

Kutcher also revealed that he personally uses soap and water on his “armpits and crotch daily,” but “absolutely nothing else.”

“I have a tendency to throw some water on my face after a workout to get rid of the salts,” he added.

Unsurprisingly, the acceptance has led to a tsunami of memes by social media users who are perplexed about the couple’s hygiene standards.

“When Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ kids come into class,” one Twitter user wrote, alongside a photo of Robert Pattinson holding his nose.

He posted another photo of SpongeBob SquarePants, with the caption: “Ashton Kutcher and Uber driver Mila Kunis take them to Olive Garden.”

Podcast director Jimmy Hill joked: “Ashton Kutcher told the whole world he’s taking baths huh.”

One Twitter user posted a clip of Idris Elba coughing and choking, with the caption, “I’m walking next to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis on the streets.”

Another joke about the couple’s bathing habits reads: “Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis treat their kids like I treat my jeans.”

The couple’s names were popular on Twitter Wednesday morning as a result. One social media user posted a clip with the caption: “Everyone when they find out why Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are headed.”

Kunis and Kutcher made headlines last week when the actor revealed he had sold a Virgin Galactic ticket to the spaceflight company.

“When I got married and had kids, I basically encouraged my wife that it wasn’t a smart family decision to head into space when we had young children,” he told Cheddar News.
