An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 was recorded 3 km northeast of the village of shurza in Armenia’s Jigarkunik Province at 21:09 local time (17:09 GMT).
The earthquake intensity was 4-5 at the epicenter.
The quake was felt in the cities of Sevan, Javar and Chambrak in the Cigarkonik region, in the city of Abovyan in Kotayk, and in the village of Aygdzor in the Tavush region.
