DaBaby shoots back at Questlove, says he doesn’t know who the quest is هو

DaBaby does not give up.

The “Rockstar” rapper responded to Questlove in a series of Instagram Stories. He wrote, “I’m not even trying to be funny when I say…I don’t know who dis n***a dawg is.” “And I don’t care about losing you as a fan my lolquestlove son. You or anyone else wants to play the leader’s follower. This star was a fan of standing n***a, yeen I haven’t seen one of those, huh?”

Last night (July 28), Questlove made a statement on Instagram condemning DaBaby for his anti-gay comments during his set at Rolling Loud Miami last weekend. Roots co-founder posted a screenshot showing a list of artists – The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, The Isley Brothers, Rihanna, Sade, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Hiatus Kaiyote, Sault – but Bibi’s name was written.

He wrote: “I was asked by default if I sponsor an updated version of #SummerOfSoul, who would my actions be? You made my dream list.” “And now I’m updating my list – because it’s 2021 and I’m going back to bullshit. I’m not particularly here for any brutality (if I’m lost: Google crap putting a cross off).”

DaBaby posted two more Instagram stories after his direct response to Quest. He wrote on the next slide: “These guys really think they’re going to influence people to stop having sex with influence.” “They’re crazy about what I’m saying it’s not all. I’ve got the effect and nuts *** A. You are all fans.” You can watch the three slides below.

This all comes after several artists came out against DaBaby, including Dua Lipa and Elton John, among others. Bibi initially defended his comments, but doubled down on his stance and has continued to do so ever since.

These deaf hip-hop moments prove the rapper’s ability to get a serious backlash
