An official said all employees were accounted for after a possible hurricane reached Bensalem Motors Agency – CBS Philly

BENSALM, Pennsylvania (CBS) — All employees at Buick GMC’s Faulkner dealerships were confined after a suspected tornado hit the building Thursday, according to officials.

Bill Rollin, director of emergency alerts for Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties, told CBS3 that the mass casualty incident “has been declared by Bucks County, crews from across the town of Bensalem are currently at the scene.”

According to Rollin, a mass casualty incident is defined as “any incident in which 3 or more people are injured.” The county gave Incident Number 3, which means there could be anywhere from three to 20 people affected.

According to Rollin, all employees of the agency were accounted for. Adrien Ramos wasn’t in the building at the time of the storm, but he was meant to be

“I am very present here. My friend had to switch shifts with me,” he told CBS3. “He had a toy or something, so I had to switch with him.”

Ramos went to the site to check on his co-workers.

The agent is located near Trevose, where the fire company has tweeted photos of the scene.

The building contains between four and five different agents. Rollin says the service center has been hardest hit.

“Thank God, everyone is fine and everyone has succeeded,” Ramos says.

The damage comes after severe weather hit the area on Thursday evening. The National Weather Service will confirm the hurricane and other information after scanning the site.
