PSA: Halo Infinite campaign spoilers leaked via beta

[ad_1]

So far, many Halo fans are enjoying the multiplayer art preview of Halo Infinite. However, it has been confirmed that campaign content was mistakenly included in beta files, which led to spoilers appearing on the Internet.

Joseph Staten of 343 Industries stated that there were a “small number” of Halo Infinite campaign files that were inadvertently left in the technical preview build. It is emphasized that they include spoilers.

“Leaks like this are painful for the development team and can ruin everyone’s campaign experience,” Staten says in a tweet. “So please, keep your eyes peeled for spoilers and don’t post them if you see them.”

In addition to spoilers, uploading any of the extracted data to places like YouTube can have negative effects on your channel. Halo Community Manager Brian Jarrard warned that doing so could result in a takedown notice and result in strikes.

Jarrard recommends, “If you’ve already posted content, we recommend that you remove it from your channel proactively.”

Important: Please do not post content extracted from the data to your channels! You really risk getting a takedown notice, which could lead to a violation on certain platforms. If you have already posted content, we recommend that you remove it from your channel proactively.

If you are lucky enough to get an invite for technical testing, you should also install the beta client. Players in the beta version have already started competing for the highest scores in the academy.

Halo Infinite is set for a Holiday 2021 release for Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The multiplayer game will be free upon launch.
