Jeremy Clarkson caught COVID from his girlfriend’s son

Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend revealed that her son feared he would kill the TV star when he gave him COVID.

The Grand Tour star, 61, contracted the virus in December, and Lisa Hogan – his girlfriend of about four years – said her son transmitted it.

“It was awful!” She said in the loose woman. “My son brought it for Christmas and thought, Oh my God, I’m going to kill Jeremy!”

I joked, “And I said, ‘Some people will thank you!'”

Clarkson previously revealed that he battled the virus over the holidays.

He wrote in the Sunday Times column: “Four days before Christmas, I woke up at night to find my sheets were wet with water. And that I had a persistent dry cough.”

After he tested positive for the coronavirus, he said it was scary.

“The doctor was very clear – I would feel the weather for five to 14 days and then either I would get better or I would have to go to the hospital,” he said.

“Because I’m 60 and obese, and because I smoked half a million cigarettes and had double pneumonia, I would probably die alone in a lone plastic tent.”

Clarkson has been married twice but separated from his second wife, Frances Kane in 2014.

He and Hogan announced their relationship in 2017 when they walked out together at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
