The daily growth rate of infections in England is estimated at between -3% and 1%, according to figures from the UK’s Health Security Agency.

Estimates represent the situation two to three weeks earlier, due to the delay between someone becoming infected, developing symptoms, and needing health care.
The Northwest, Northeast and Yorkshire have the lowest estimated range of 0.7-1.0.
Estimates for Southeast, London and East England are slightly above the England average at 0.9-1.2.
It comes as coronavirus infection rates have fallen in all countries except Northern Ireland, according to other official estimates.
Data from the Office for National Statistics shows that in the week ending July 31, 1 in 75 people in private homes in England (722,300 positive cases) was estimated to have contracted COVID-19 in the week ending July 31.
This compares with one in 65 people (865.200) in the previous week.
In Scotland, the latest figure was one in 120 (43,000 infections), compared to one in 110 (49,500) in the previous week.
In Wales, it is estimated that 1 in 230 people (13,000 cases) contracted coronavirus in the last week of July, while 1 in 160 people (18,800) had contracted the virus in the previous seven days.
In contrast, infection rates are up in Northern Ireland, where one in 55 people (34,400) is believed to have COVID, compared to one in 65 people (27,200) in the previous week.
The ONS Infection Survey is testing tens of thousands of people in private homes across the country to produce its estimates.
