As part of next week’s Season 5 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, a new mode called Double Agent will be added to the base playlist, and it looks like it plays a lot like us. Ignore questionable character models for a second and two teams are pitted against each other: one must place bombs all over the map and kill secret agents while the other must track down and eliminate explosive settlers. Then there is the investigator whose job it is to help the operators by finding clues that will help the team figure out who the double agents are.
Season 5 will also bring five other multiplayer maps, another mode called Demolition, and another bunch of content for Zombies. Meanwhile, Warzone players can look forward to the updated Verdansk map, new modes, and more weapons to break the definition. A mid-season event called “The Numbers” is also planned.
