Pregnancy update for Stacy Solomon after visiting the hospital to check up on the baby

Stacy Solomon revealed that she was in the hospital this weekend to check on her unborn baby, but confirmed that her baby is “happy and safe.”

The Loose Woman star is currently pregnant with her fourth child, and is expecting a girl with fiancé Joe Swash.

Fans noticed that Stacey, 31, had not posted on her social media page for a few days causing concern.

She returned Sunday with an update on her pregnancy and a picture of her nude baby during her latest checkup.

Stacey explained: Good morning. Sorry I’ve been so quiet we just spent the weekend checking out Princess Pickle.

‘All is well. And we go see her this morning to check everything again… We are grateful that she is happy, comfortable and safe there. Happy Sunday, reassured.

Besides the scan photos, Stacey also addressed her followers’ concerns about the size of her baby bump.

She said, ‘A lot of people have said my tummy is really small, which is really 2% instead of 20%+ but fortunately baby is exactly where it should be today despite the size of my tummy’.

And the TV star continued, “Every pregnancy and every bump is different every baby. And as nice as people are, I think sometimes it’s important to remember when you tell someone that they look ‘big’ or ‘small’ or anything in between can be very worrying for a mummy. The one that develops a human being and worrying about why her appearance is different from that of another person.

And it can be really scary. I know people don’t mean any harm by saying ‘you’re too young and too small’ but that definitely got me thinking a lot and made me anxious.”

Last week, Stacey appeared for the last time on ITV’s Loose Women before her maternity leave began, and was treated to a baby shower by her co-hosts.

She is already the mother of two older sons, 13-year-old Zack and nine-year-old Leighton, from previous relationships, while she shares 2-year-old son Rex with Joe.

The former EastEnders actor, 39, is also the father of his son Harry, 13, from a previous relationship.
