Scotland is once again on flood alert after meteorologists issued a weather warning of thunderstorms as the rain wave entered its fourth day.
The Bureau of Meteorology alert runs from midday until 11 p.m. today, with heavy rain, lightning, and hail during the 11-hour period.
Up to three inches of rain is expected over several hours in some places after the weekend caused flooding in parts of Scotland.
SEPA has issued flood alerts for 12 places, including Central Belt, Dundee, Angus, Aberdeenshire, Tayside and Edinburgh.
Heavy rain could cause chaos on the roads, with some closures and challenging driving conditions expected.

Flood and lightning strikes may also cause trains and buses to be delayed and canceled, while there is a chance of power outages across Scotland.
Homeowners should be on high alert for rising flood waters as homes and businesses can ‘quickly inundate’ during a bad weather spell.
The Bureau of Meteorology’s forecast read: “Slow-moving heavy rain will develop on Monday.
“Some places will lose these, but where it does occur, 15-30 mm of rain may fall in a short period of time, perhaps 50-70 mm over several hours in a few places.
“Some of this rain may also be thunderstorms, most likely over eastern Scotland. The rain will disappear during the evening.”

It comes after severe flooding across Scotland saw roads and railways submerged under five feet of water, and streets inundated when 30mm of rain fell in an hour.
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms was in effect for much of Scotland throughout Sunday after the entire country was placed on flood alert.
There were also speed restrictions in places across Scotland including Glasgow, which was hit by several inches of rainwater.
