Today, Wednesday, German prosecutors said that German police had arrested a Briton who worked at the British Embassy in Berlin on suspicion of passing documents to Russian intelligence in exchange for money.
German prosecutors said in a statement that the man’s apartment and workplace were searched, identified only as David S., and he will appear before an investigative judge later on Wednesday.
They said the arrest was the result of a joint investigation by German and British authorities.
