Arsenal is among the clubs awaiting their fate before the draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup this evening.
Arsenal enter the competition alongside Premier League teammates Brentford and Crystal Palace, with not all top-tier teams in Europe taking part in the competition at this stage.
Several matches were held in the first round last night, and five more are scheduled for tonight, but already 45 of the 50 teams in the second round are known, since the draw was divided into two parts, north and south.
Arsenal, along with Brentford and Plus, will join 23 other teams in the southern section of the draw, with the 13 matches taking place in the week of August 23.
