Crash around 3:30 AM
The accident, which police described as “serious”, occurred earlier this morning on the southbound stretch of the M6 motorway between Junctions 19 (Knutsford) and 20 (Lim).
Traffic Service Enrix said the highway closed around 3:30 a.m.
Northwest Highway Police (NWMP) said it included two trucks, a van and a car.
Emergency services have been on the scene ever since with the southbound Interstate highway closing between intersections.
