A collision involving two trucks, a truck and a car by Lymm Interchange closed the M6 this morning.
Highways England confirmed that the M6 in Cheshire is closed south between the J20 Lymm Interchange, the M56 and the J19 Knutsford A556 due to “four-vehicle collision with two trucks, one car and one truck”.
In addition, there is damage to the central wall and what Highways England has called a “major diesel spill” that needs to be cleared up.
At this point, no details of any injuries have been provided but one of the drivers has been taken to hospital.
