Paramedics have warned those with 21 symptoms of COVID-19, they still need to watch out for it.

Experts say it’s critical to remain vigilant and aware of the signs they can still catch covid-19 — even after two doses of the vaccine, says The Mirror.

The Office for National Statistics said the percentage of people testing positive for the disease has fallen in Teesside as well as in the wider North East, North West, London and West Midlands.

But more than 200 local authority areas have seen a rise in rates in the past week, according to data from Public Health England.

Nearly 48 million people in the UK have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

More than 40 million – 76% of adults – took the two doses together.

The number of first doses taken each day is now said to average 35,000.

The British Joint Committee on Immunization and Immunization has now recommended an injection for children aged 12 to 15 years.

The latest ZOE Covid 19 Symptom Study has revealed the signs and symptoms Britons are still exposed to with dual vaccination and full vaccination.

Users report the symptoms they experience in the app, so scientists can keep track of the most common symptoms.

Professor Tim Spector, from the study, says most symptoms are not on the official NHS Covid list.

The official list of symptoms in the UK includes fever, cough and loss of taste or smell.

Anyone who has one or more of the symptoms can test positive.

The first children aged 12 to 15 will receive their first dose of the vaccine this weekend in Ireland.

That’s a “very strong point” in the vaccine programme, says the country’s director of health and safety, Paul Reed.

He said: “Many of those who signed up yesterday have already secured appointments for this weekend, and I’m happy to say that.

“Our teams and vaccination centers are very focused on trying to get this job done quickly and quickly.”

Some parents in England say they are still struggling to get an injection for their clinically at-risk children – four weeks after they were added to the training programme.

NHS England says vaccinations will start from 23 August “at the latest”.

But families have told the BBC they are frustrated by the lack of information – and fear that their children will return to school with minimal protection.
