Three women and a man were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds after a suspected drive-by attack in Camden.

Gunfire was heard in Clarence Gardens near Regents Park around 10.10pm last night (August 14).

According to the UK News Agency, Pictures, eyewitnesses saw a speeding car passing in front of it, from which a five-shot automatic weapon was fired.

Firearms officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the aid of those who had been attacked.

Two women were treated at the scene and were rushed to hospital and a man and a woman later made their own way to A&E Hospital for treatment, all suspected of having gunshot wounds.

The crime scene is still in place and investigations are ongoing, although there have been no arrests yet.

The shooting is not treated as terrorism-related.

An order under Section 60 is in place throughout Camden until 7 a.m. this morning, giving police enhanced stop-and-search powers until then.

Reports on social media indicated that another person was stabbed in the same area during a group party, but police say they are not aware of this.
