The family of the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident paid a moving tribute to him.
Matthew Luke Bright, better known to many as Matty or Luke, was riding his motorcycle on Ferry Road in Eastham, Wirral, on Friday when he hit a wall and was killed.
Bouquets of flowers were left in honor of the 27-year-old at the scene on Saturday, and the blue biker was decorated with handwritten messages including the words: “RIP Luke Bright.”

In homage to Matthew with ECHO, the family described him as a man who has “a great passion for life and has always been the life and soul of the party”.

They said: Have mercy on life to the fullest [and] He will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone who knew him.
“It was taken very early in peace. There’s nothing to hold you back, soar.”
The Gofundme page has been set up to raise money for the 27-year-old’s funeral and give him the ‘goodbye he deserves’.
There will also be a memorial on Saturday, August 21, in Upton Park, Chester where balloons will be released in memory of Locke.
A message on the page reads: “We’re asking all of Luke’s friends and family to come to Upton Park for a meeting to put some balloons up and relive all the crazy and amazing times we had with Luke.
“There is a parking lot where the library is, please try and don’t block the roads.
“We’ll all meet at 7 p.m. on August 21. If you own a motorbike, could you please come over to it because it was his favorite thing in the world and you know it would mean a lot to his family.”
Dozens of tributes to famed biker Chester were also shared on Facebook, with one person speaking of a “real, beautiful boy” who went early.
They said, “I was absolutely devastated to hear Luke Bright have soon gained his wings.
“So sad! Such a kind honest boy, he always had a smile on his face!”
Another said, “I can’t believe what I just heard about my brother from day one he has always taken care of me, Luke Bright has never been so devastated and can’t beat him!!!
Fly high my brother, I will never forget you.
A third wrote: “I still can’t quite believe you’re gone but Luke Bright was torn too soon. I love you brother.”
