Microsoft is testing a new, high-resolution dashboard for the Xbox Series X.
Microsoft said insiders of the Alpha skip-forward program on the Xbox Series X connected to a 4K display can now begin testing a higher-resolution user interface.
This change means that the home page, guide, and other areas of the user interface are displayed in a higher original resolution for increased sharpness and readability of text.
Currently, the Xbox Series X runs a dash at 1080p. Microsoft hasn’t said this new resolution is 4K, but the goal is sure to get there.
Microsoft also didn’t say when it hopes to roll out this new feature to all Xbox Series X owners. It also didn’t say Xbox Series S.
Microsoft is currently testing a new night mode for Xbox consoles, which allows users to dim their screens.
