Ricky Robinson, 29, was found dead near Cardiff Central Station on June 10.

It is believed that Ricky Robinson remained there for two weeks before his body was discovered.

And the stunned mom told WalesOnline: “Someone should know something, right?

“He couldn’t have been in that bush for two weeks without anyone knowing he was there. She was outside a train station and no one saw him.

“Hundreds of people go through it every day.

“I just want someone to tell me what happened. It’s hard not to know what happened. I just want an answer and justice for my son as any mother would.”

Ricky Robinson lived on the streets of Cardiff after moving to the Welsh capital from his family home in Argweed.

He has committed a number of crimes, including using threats and assaulting a police officer.

Court records confirmed that Ricky was under an order from the community and was wearing an electronic card at the time of his death.

Two weeks before finding Ricky, his brother Marcus called and shared the news that he and his partner were expecting a baby, implying that Ricky would be an uncle.

“Marcus wanted to tell him about it and then we haven’t heard from him yet,” Michelle says.

“He would make a good uncle. He loved his brothers and sister. He was close to all of them – Marcus, Robert and Scarlett.”

Ricky was last seen at a bank in Cardiff on May 26.

South Wales Police continue to investigate Ricky’s death, but Michelle says she is still waiting for updates.

“His body was not discovered for two weeks and since then I have not received any support from the police,” she says.

“I feel like the system has let me down. So is my son who was left there for two weeks uncovered.”

By the time Michelle saw her son’s body, it was so badly decomposed that the mother could not recognize it.

Tests are now being conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding Ricky’s death and to officially identify the body.

A South Wales Police spokesperson said: “South Wales Police continue to investigate the death of a 29-year-old man whose body was found on Penarth Road, near Cardiff Central Railway, in June.

He added, “The investigation is underway on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and the man’s family has been informed that the officers are awaiting a report of the illness.”
