She had left her home on Moston Lane at about 7 p.m., and was walking her dog from a duck pond toward the Charlestown Road exit, when she was ambushed by two men.
Police said one of the men took the dog from her, while the other pushed her to the ground and raped her.
In the aftermath of the horrific attack, the girl managed to retrieve her dog and escape from the scene.
I alerted two other women in the park, so I called the police.
The two men are described: a black man with braided hair about 5 feet 8 inches tall and between 20 and 30 years old with an African accent, wearing a dark puffer jacket with royal blue sleeves, dark jeans with a belt and dark sneakers with bubbles in the sole.
A bald white man, between 20 and 30 years old, with a short beard and a Manchester accent, wears a white long-sleeved V-neck shirt and dark jeans with white sneakers.
