An angry mother claims the owner of a ‘cowardly’ dog has escaped after his eight-year-old son was attacked by his pet in a Greater Manchester park.
Katie Bradshaw, 30, claims her son Noah was walking with his sister and teenage neighbors in a Southport park when he was approached by a German Shepherd who was off the lead.
They were walking in Abney Hall Park around 7.45pm on a Sunday when the dog took a beeline for them.
“Noah thought the dog was trying to be friendly, and reached out to say ‘stop’ when he was running towards him,” Katie told the Manchester Evening News.
As he turned around, the dog jumped up and took part of his back.

“[His friends] He said the dog stayed there for five to seven seconds and then the owner took it out.”
After bringing the dog back to the front, Katie says the owner “ran away,” despite the fact that Noah was crying.
She added, “Noah was crying hysterically.

“We took him to A&E. He’s on really strong antibiotics and he should have the community nurses come in and dress her up.”
“IM angry.”

How dare he leave my son injured? What a cowardly thing to do.
“He’s a fully grown man, and I think it’s very disgusting.
“Noah is petrified. We as a family will not stop until he is found, we will do our best to find him, name him and expose him.”
