Kylian Mbappe could leave PSG this week as ‘one English team in touch’ amid Liverpool links

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe may still leave PSG before the end of the current transfer window.

The French side offered a new five-year contract for the 22-year-old, but after the offer was not met with enthusiasm, RMC Sport said the Paris club may be open to selling Mbappe.

Reportedly, his new deal will make him the third highest paid player at the club, behind Neymar and newcomer Lionel Messi.

With just one year left on his contract, the report suggests that Real Madrid are targeting the striker before the end of the summer, with at least one English side saying they have shown an interest, leading to links with Liverpool.

With only a week left until the transfer deadline, PSG may decide to get paid now rather than risk losing it for free, with the World Cup winner able to sign a pre-contract agreement in January, should negotiations continue to falter.
